When Carpet Cleaning Seems to cheap
One of the questions we receive when potential new customers call us: "Is your pricing upfront?"
If you live in Las Vegas or Henderson, you may know by now that many advertised prices by carpet cleaners include everything needed for the service. This is how they get into your home and begin to upsell.
Take this for example: An advertisement on a piece of paper stapled to a telephone pole says $20 per room carpet cleaned. At first many would think, wow, this is an amazing price. What they do not know, is this price is for using basically hot water and steam to clean with. No chemicals, no products. Stains won't be removed, carpet will be wet for hours. If you check through Yelp, you will see many carpet cleaning companies in Las Vegas with 1 star reviews. Read through them and notice how every person complains of the major upsell from being quoted $49 for 3 rooms, and when a technician arrives at their home, it becomes $300. This is such a Vegas scam and people should be aware!
When calling for a quote, be sure to ask what pricing is per room, what does it include? For example is Stain Remover, Deodorizer, Hallways, Closets, Sanitizing included? What size room does this go up to? They may say some low ball price as $20 per room, but that is only 100 sq. ft. The size of your closet!
