Carpets are exposed to constant wear and tear from people, pets and more. Here are the top 3 reasons why you should hire a professional carpet cleaner the next time you need to combat dirt in your carpets and rugs.

Saves Time
When you clean your carpets yourself, you have to move the furniture, vacuum all of the carpets, spot treat your carpet to remove stains, apply pre-treatment solution to your carpet, fill and empty the tanks, and carry and cleaning the equipment when you are done. That is to much! Using a professional service like NaturalDry Carpet Cleaning Las Vegas means an experienced technician takes care of all of this, saving you time and a trip to the chiropractor.
Expertise
These services are usually equipped with machines that make the entire floor cleaning process go much more quickly. They tend to have wheels that are designed not to leave marks, and a rubber bumper for the protection of furniture and walls. Brushes and pads can be attached, as well. Depending on the kind of dirt and the type of hard surface, these machines can switch tasks and go from washing to polishing based on the attachments and setting. Technicians undergo a training program for the operation of the machines and stay on top of industry advancements. Some businesses also specialize in repair and may be able to remove small scratches or chips, or at least make them less noticeable. Services and Pricing listed upfront. No bait and switch type cleaning!

Protects Your Investments
The flooring in your home is a big investment in the health and comfort of your family. Over time the same contaminants that reside in the fibers can begin to break them down, particularly in higher traffic areas as each footstep causes friction.
An improperly maintained carpet will show wear and tear and will require replacing much sooner than one cleaned regularly, helping to protect and prolong your investment.

The difference between Residential and Commercial Carpet
If you are a business owner or manager interested in buying a new carpet for your office space, you would be surprised how many flooring options are out there. Today’s flooring provides myriad options designed specifically for businesses like yours. From luxury vinyl and laminate to commercial carpet flooring, there is almost infinite range of choices for your décor. But, what actually makes something a commercial flooring product, rather than a residential one?
For residential flooring, comfort is often the first priority. A home is a place where people can relax and enjoy their free time. So, carpet that is intended for residential purposes must be comfortable, appealing to the eye, and quiet. This type of carpet usually has taller pile and a fairly loose loop design. Both of these produce the plush feel that homeowners want from their flooring. High quality carpet for residential use is good for reducing noise levels and sound transmission and has excellent thermal qualities, keeping the home environment warm and energy efficient. It can also help to minimize injuries when falls occur, especially to toddlers and the elderly. Residential carpet can be installed wall to wall, or in carpet pieces. It can be glued to the floor, but also installed without adhesion. Residential carpets are available in various styles, colors, and patterns.
Commercial carpet is made to withstand a lot of foot traffic without looking worn, and that requires choosing the proper carpet specification for its intended use. This type of carpet is usually made with a tight loop and a short pile, giving it the density and thickness enough to withstand extra-heavy traffic on a daily basis. Some commercial carpets are made with an attached high density performance cushion or other PVC backing system, which give the carpet extra support for very heavy traffic areas such as hospitals or hotels. Design of commercial carpets is usually easy to fit in with various interior styles. They can also be cut in a larger variety of sizes and are generally less expensive than residential carpets, making commercial carpet a great option for large spaces.
Both residential and commercial carpet last longer when being cleaned with eco-friendly, biodegradable low moisture products. Putting to much soap, which leaves a residue, or soaking your carpet with water can have bad future effects. If you would like to find a quality carpet cleaning las vegas service visit us online. We can provide different options when needing to clean your house or business!

Padding cleaned under carpet
The need for carpet padding is often overlooked, mainly because people are unsure about the benefits. There is also a wide variety of carpet padding depending on the type of floor and the style of carpet. Some carpet padding may be used to hold an area rug in place while a thicker more plush padding can be used for comfort. Despite the type of padding there are several main benefits to using carpet padding for your area rugs, orientals and other various styles of carpet.
Increases Longevity: Carpet padding increases the longevity of your carpets in two ways. First, carpet padding protects the binding and backing of your carpets by absorbing the impact of human foot traffic. Second, carpet padding allows more air flow into your vacuum which increases suction. As a result more dust, dirt and debris will be removed from you carpets with regular basis vacuuming.
Increases Insulation: Carpet padding can make a room warmer by providing another layer of insulation. Depending on the size of the room and the carpet, purchasing carpet padding will trap heat during the winter and prevent cool air from leaving a room during summer.
Keep Your Carpet Still: Area rugs often slip and slide when they are on hard surface floors. This creates two problems. One, you might have to constantly adjust your area rugs. Two, if your carpet slips under your feet you risk falling and sustaining an injury. Carpet padding grips hard surface floors and holds your carpets in place.
Make Carpets Feel Softer: Carpet padding adds a soft extra layer underneath your carpets. This layer absorbs impact and making your carpets feel softer. Carpets and area rugs are an expensive investment and carpet padding is the best way to get the most comfort out of them. Have a Carpet Cleaning Las Vegas company like NaturalDry, Low Moisture clean your carpet, so padding isn't saturated!

When Carpet Cleaning Seems to cheap
One of the questions we receive when potential new customers call us: "Is your pricing upfront?"
If you live in Las Vegas or Henderson, you may know by now that many advertised prices by carpet cleaners include everything needed for the service. This is how they get into your home and begin to upsell.
Take this for example: An advertisement on a piece of paper stapled to a telephone pole says $20 per room carpet cleaned. At first many would think, wow, this is an amazing price. What they do not know, is this price is for using basically hot water and steam to clean with. No chemicals, no products. Stains won't be removed, carpet will be wet for hours. If you check through Yelp, you will see many carpet cleaning companies in Las Vegas with 1 star reviews. Read through them and notice how every person complains of the major upsell from being quoted $49 for 3 rooms, and when a technician arrives at their home, it becomes $300. This is such a Vegas scam and people should be aware!
When calling for a quote, be sure to ask what pricing is per room, what does it include? For example is Stain Remover, Deodorizer, Hallways, Closets, Sanitizing included? What size room does this go up to? They may say some low ball price as $20 per room, but that is only 100 sq. ft. The size of your closet!
If you are looking to have carpet cleaning in las vegas - give us a call for more information. We can explain cleaning process and pricing. No additional costs when our techs arrive at your home.

Keeping your Rugs Cleaned
Protect It
Oriental and Wool Rugs: Decide how you’re going to protect that rug from disaster. You may not be able to prevent every spill or all soiling, but you can place your most precious rugs away from the worst areas (like directly under the table, for instance). You can also protect your rug by keeping it out of the highest traffic areas of the house and using a non-slip pad under it.
Vacuum It
Vacuum your oriental, wool, synthetic and Persian rugs frequently. Plan on once a week, or whenever you vacuum the room that it is in. vacuuming removes dust and dirt and awakens the fibers of the rug after they have begun to flatten under use, too frequent rug care, or Las Vegas weather.
Spot Clean It
Don’t wait until your weekly vacuuming session to inspect the rug for spills. In fact, as soon as you suspect a spill of any kind (juice, food, dirt, makeup, etc.), clean it immediately! The longer a spill sits, the harder it will be to get out. Use clean white towels or tissues to blot as much of the stain as you can with water. Then use a clear detergent, spot testing a small area first to make sure the cleaner doesn’t damage the rug. And remember, blot instead of rubbing. (a few brands such as resolve or spot shot can cause more damage than resolution)
Beat It
Sometimes you need to do a little more than vacuuming. Quality rugs can have very dense fibers that cling to dust and dirt. Every now and then, hang the rug up outside and beat the dirt out of it with a broom or a baseball bat. Just don’t let it sit in the sun unless you want color fading.
Barefoot It
If you don’t already have people take off their shoes when entering your house, adopt the practice now. Nothing can disrupt your rug care routine (and carpet) like dirty, heavy shoes. Just leave them at the door. You’re going to take off your shoes anyway, so you might as well do it as soon as you come home.
Rotate it
Why you should turn your rug once a year? Due to the regular foot traffic on your rug, this will ensure even wear. Rug experts recommend turning the rugs 180 degrees.
Deep Clean It
Rug in Need of Cleaning.. Maybe as often as once a year, go ahead and deep clean the rug. Even if you’ve spot-cleaned all year long, some spots may have gotten cleaner than others and the rug may have a slightly uneven appearance. Hire a professional rug specialist to keep your rug looking great!
Worn Fringe
With hand-woven rugs, a component of their value is found in the knots used in their construction. Frequently, on the ends of the rug, those knots become loose and fall off, and this causes an unraveling of the rug that, left unresolved, could cause the loss of inches of the foundation as well. An untrained person may try to repair the edge and try to reconnect the fringe to the foundation either by hand stitching or machine stitching, but that can often do more harm than good. This practice could actually loosen additional knots, and soon, inches of your cherished rug could be lost. Contact a professional rug repair expert instead of trying to do it yourself.
Bleaches or Oxidizing Cleaners
Oriental rug on display in Atlanta
Using a bleach or oxidizer, like hydrogen peroxide, causes deterioration of cotton fibers, so never use these or any type of chemicals to brighten up fringe or any other part of a rug. If you incur a spill on your rug, blot, don’t rub. But if it doesn’t come out, consult a rug cleaning specialist. Have the rug professionally cleaned every 1 to 4 years to keep it looking beautiful.
Moths and Beetles
Moths and carpet beetles can eat away a rug within a year. It’s not usually the fiber they are after, but any contaminants—spills or pet urine—that soak into the wool or cotton. The most likely places these bugs hide are the underside of the rug, especially in parts of the rug covered by large furniture. Telltale signs of bugs feasting on your rug are white bare areas with the foundation showing through, or there may be a sticky lint and webbing. Consult a professional rug repair specialist if you suspect a bug infestation.
Pet Accidents
Not only does pet urine attract moths to your rug, it causes severe fiber and dye damage. Clean accidents immediately to discourage moths from feeding on your rug and prevent fiber damage. If you find fiber or dye damage, consult a rug restoration specialist who may be able to repair the damage.
