Why soap is bad for your carpet

This is a question that we have had time after time. When a customer calls us they ask, with your cleaning process does carpet get dirty a week later? Our answer, simply, “Definitely not!”

Let us explain the reason why your carpet gets dirty quickly after cleaning using a steam cleaning service or other methods of carpet cleaning that uses soap. (Note: NaturalDry Carpet Cleaning uses NO soap or detergents in our cleaning method, only natural, eco-friendly products that leave behind no residue.)
When a steam carpet cleaning service uses soap or detergent in the cleaning process, they are applying that soap into your carpet with over 30 gallons of water. What you do not know, is only 80% of this soap is extracted out of your carpet at the end of the cleaning. After they are finished cleaning, it may look great, but after a few days and after your carpet dries, stains begin to appear again or traffic lanes in carpet start to form dirt quickly. This is due to that left over soap residue. Soap attracts dirt quickly and brings stains back up.

Be careful when choosing a carpet cleaning service in las vegas, verify that the service does not use soap in the cleaning process.
